          John S. Ingersoll, 93, affectionately known as "Jack," husband of Patricia, passed away March 7, 2022, after a short illness. Son of Florence and Harold Ingersoll, Jack, his sister and 5 brothers were raised in New Castle, Indiana, and spent their childhood summers at the family ranch in Martinsdale, Montana.

          He attended Knox College in Galesburg II. and proudly was accepted into both Harvard Graduate Business School and the Northwestern Univ. Law School. A Korean war enlistment in the U.S. Army came first, however. First Lieutenant Ingersoll served 14 months of front-line duty as the assistant S3, 2d Battalion, in the 25th Infantry. After Korea, while attending and then g
